The Name Escapes Me, Art Collective created silk scarves and stickers with the printed map. X Marks the Spot. The map was distributed to burners throughout the build and burning man event weeks.

Title: Wonderment
Science, Nature and Love: there is so much to be under their spell amidst what is seemingly predictable and yet remains Magic. While carrying my child, I was haunted by the thought that while this Miracle was so unique to me, every single human walking on earth was the product of such a Mysterious event.
How can the scientific mechanical dance of a tireless spermatozoid insisting to enter an ovum gives a Soul the choice to join our Human Dimension? I remain in awe every day.
The HeArt, Ovum and Spermatozoid are each hand sculpted in a different clay body and unfired so as to allow Time to work its Process of Aging as it does to our own body.

Description: This piece reflects many things at the same time. simplicity, independence, indescribable feelings, joy, friendships, a source of fear, a spiritual connection, and a path to self-discovery. Like Burning Man, or the deep playa, surfing can be life-changing and a way to be alone with everyone. In a time where there is a disconnect from nature and endless distractions, Surfing gives the gift of presence while being one with nature. Good for our bodies and purifies our mind.

Why are we here? What is our purpose? How do we get there? With all the external noise these days, one can get lost in the madness - to find your way you must look within.

Community is Life. Having a strong sense of community can help us to live longer healthier lives. A home is the most important place for a child. It is within the home that the most important values are taught, and to be shared with the community.

Description: Created using an image from my abstract landscape series, Place, and a distorted polaroid, this work reflects back at us an abstract version / view of ourselves, the sky above us and the world around us, pulling us out of our usual reality and allowing us to look deeper. Through this abstraction or distortion, we are forced to separate from our usual thoughts of the physical representation of place and ourselves, and instead, embrace the feeling of the moment.
